Tandem Sky Diving |
Description:
We take you to Spain's premier skydiving centre to experience the thrill of jumping out of a plane. This is not the cheapest of events but in terms of adrenaline buzzes tandem diving cannot be beaten.
We pick you and your group up from your hotel or apartment in Barcelona allowing plenty of time for the transfer to Empuriabrava. Please bear in mind that the minibus trip takes about 1 and a half hours. The wait is worthwhile, however.
On arrival you'll have the chance to purchase a video and/or photos of your jump - this is not included in our price and you pay the centre directly. Once you've signed in you will be weighed - YOU CANNOT JUMP IF WEIGH MORE THAN 100 KGS (ABOUT 15 AND A BIT STONE).
Once the formalities are over you'll be introduced to your partner, an experienced skydiver in whose hands you'll be putting your life.
After a brief introductory class into freefall and parachute control, you’ll jump from 12 500 feet securely attached to an expert instructor. You’ll be spending approximately 1 minute in freefall at 180 km/h before helping to steer the square parachute towards a soft landing.
Once the jump is completed and everyone's returned to land you'll be able to enjoy the bar facilities and watch your videos on the big screen over a refreshing beer.
The return trip to Barcelona tends to be far more animated than the outward leg.
The stag will also receive a 1920s style F.C. Barcelona replica shirt as a memento of the event.
Notes for agents: They are very strict on the weight so please tell clients to avoid disappointment. As mentioned above transfer time is 1.5 hours. |
